Just 10 km from the Lagastrello Pass, the Prato Spilla ski and tourist resort is the ideal starting point for hiking and trekking excursions in the Hundred Lakes Regional Park, as well as one of the many spectacular entrances to the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park.

Surrounded by sleepy pastures and unspoiled forests, the area offers a unique heritage of floral and faunal biodiversity, dotted with glacial lakes with crystal-clear waters, such as Lake Verde, Lake Ballano, Lake Palo and Lake Squincio.

Skiing in these places guarantees thrills and incredible views, especially during beautiful sunny days. There are over 10 km of pistes on different levels that wind their way from 1,300 to 1,700 metres above sea level, and 2 lifts systems (a chairlift and a carpet lift on the baby slope).

Given its features, Prato Spilla is the perfect place for families and groups of friends to spend a weekend full of fun in stunning natural surroundings. It is a paradise for Alpine skiers, as it is one of the few resorts where you can ski from the top of the mountain ridge all the way down to the valley, and it is equipped with 2 terrain parks, the higher one allowing enthusiasts to try their hand at the various freeriding circuits.
