From September 11th to 17th, 2023, the 29th edition of the Biennial of the Painted Wall will be celebrated.
For this occasion, the village and the fortress of Dozza will be full of various events for the new edition of the biennial.
Exhibitions, concerts, installations, meetings and of course the artists cannot be missed on the walls of Dozza and Toscanella.
Today, there are a hundred murals that adorn the streets of Dozza and have made this place, not by chance, recognized with an award as one of the "most beautiful villages in Italy", an evocative outdoor art gallery where you enjoy an artistic heritage with remarkable depth and suggestion, simply walking through streets and squares, without a line or admission ticket. Every hour of the day, all year round.
Among the more than 200 artists who have alternated from the first edition in 1960, there are famous names such as Sebastian Matta, Bruno Saetti, Tono Zancanaro, Renzo Grazzini, Giuseppe Zigaina, Luca Alinari, Bruno Ceccobelli and Ubaldo Della Volpe.
