Reggio Emilia hosts this photographic exhibition, which draws on both the collection in the Panizzi Library Photo Library and the Ghirri Archive.
The exhibition collects for the first time the photos that Luigi Ghirri (1943-1992) took in the context of the Italy in Miniature theme park, conceived and designed by Ivo Rambaldi (1920-1993) near Rimini, inaugurated in the summer of 1970.
On display are also unpublished photos from the "In scale" series, for the first time juxtaposed with a selection of the materials of the park's archive, made by Ivo Rambaldi between the late seventies and the mid-eighties.
In addition to maps, sketches, notes and other documents, the photos taken by Rambaldi travelling to Italy are particularly remarkable. On display are also photographic projects created by a working group composed of emerging artists, catalyzed by Joan Fontcuberta and Matteo Guidi.
