Parma's cultural season will host the new and rich edition dedicated to contemporary visual arts and divergent creative thinking Parma 360 Festival of contemporary creativity, an event dedicated to the highest expressions of contemporary visual arts and creative thinking, scheduled in Parma from April 1 to May 21 ,2023. The theme of this edition, CROSSOVER, thinks about the concept of contamination between languages, styles, shapes, and symbols borrowed from different historical periods

A decade after his death, PARMA 360 Festival celebrates a tribute to the great photographer Gabriele Basilico with an exhibition at the Governor's Palace. The Piranesi Roma Basilico exhibition compares the ancient city in the engravings of Giambattista Piranesi (Venice, 1720 - Rome, 1778) and the contemporary city portrayed in the photographs of Gabriele Basilico (Milan 1944 - 2013).
Visitors will be able to admire some of the most symbolic places of the eternal city represented by the original chalcographic prints made in the 18th century by the Venetian engraver and by the same number of views of Rome by the Milanese photographer, made with the same angles as Piranesi's engravings. Basilico, who dedicated his work to Giambattista Piranesi in the early 1960s, has retraced all the places in Piranesi's views with his camera, restoring their extraordinary modernity.

Also at the Governor's Palace is the exhibition Passengers by Luca Piola. In this project Piola investigates the relationship between the museum space, the visitor and the works through a series of photographs taken in museums.

In the San Ludovico Gallery (in the past Church of San Paolo, then the Ducal Chapel of Maria Luigia) the protagonist is Elisa Seitzinger, a contemporary illustrator among the ten most influential authors in Italy, who in recent years has achieved important national and international recognition. After creating the posters for the operas of the XXII Festival Verdi 2022, Seitzinger returns to Parma with a solo exhibition entitled Profane Agiographies.

The exhibition GUARDANDO OLTRE by Stefano Bombardieri is staged in the splendid rooms of the eighteenth-century Palazzo Marchi in Parma. For Parma Bombardieri will create an exhibition built specifically for the spaces of Palazzo Marchi, whose considerable preciousness and beauty will remain at the center of the dialogue that the artist will create between his works, alternating between the most iconic and those with strictly conceptual connotations, and the halls historical and richly decorated that welcome them. A path between past and present that traces a line of continuity in the name of art.

Finally, Italia Veloce in via Dalmazia 3/a, a historic Parma workshop at the forefront in the creation of luxury and design bicycles, hosts the collective exhibition LILIBET. The Queen. Monarch of records, sovereign of style, last true pop icon of our time who inspired television series, films, songs and works of art, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is the protagonist of the works of some of the most successful international artists and street artists such as Endless, Marco Lodola, Mr. Brainwash, Raptuz, Jamie Reid, TVboy.
