From October 1 to 25, 2026, the Verdi Festival returns to Parma and Busseto. In its 26th edition, the Festival invites us to explore Distant Worlds, drawing inspiration from the fascination with the exotic that characterized 19th-century European culture.
In the new edition, three extraordinary works will offer an opportunity for reflection on intercultural relations:
The program is completed by the 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚, the 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬, 𝐅𝐮𝐨𝐜𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐢𝐚, and numerous other events such as Midday Concerts and Choirs at the Ridotto.
Additionally, the 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 section brings Verdi's music into dialogue with 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐲, 𝐃𝐯𝐨𝐫̌𝐚́𝐤, and 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐧, exploring Verdi's legacy in a contemporary context.
