Bertinoro Summer 2024: once again a full programme for lovers of good music.
In the magnificent setting of the gardens of the Rocca Vescovile (Bishop's Fortress) in Bertinoro, five concerts with exceptional performers... simply not to be missed!
Bertinoro Summer 2024 concert series starts on Friday 14 June with Drinkin'Jazz Festival and Tosca. We will see the famous Italian music performer, accompanied by her band, touring Italy with a "summer handbook", a veritable summary of everything they have played in recent years.
The shows continue on Thursday 4 July with Vinicio Capossela. The famous singer-songwriter will present his "Canzoni Urgenti" (Urgent Songs) with a band, a tale in music that expresses and exorcises the turmoil experienced by Italians during the pandemic, trying to revive the lust for life.
Tuesday 16 July will feature Goran Bregovic & The Wedding and Funeral Band: the world's most famous Balkan musician and composer will be joined by his band of trumpets, trombones, bass drum, clarinet, saxophone and Bulgarian voices. A "Turbo folk" that will give the audience energy and enthusiasm.
Cisco and Bandabardò will perform on Friday 2 August; bringing their "Ultimo Tango" (Last Tango) they will once again prove that they are one of the most vital bands in Italy.
Last appointment of the festival with Daniele Silvestri on Saturday 31 August. The singer-songwriter will share great emotions, retracing his 30-year career in the show "Il cantastorie recidivo" (The habitual storyteller).
