From Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28, 2024, in the Bolognese Apennines, in Castiglione dei Pepoli, "Yama he - Tell Me About Japan" returns, the festival dedicated to Japanese culture in all its aspects.
"Yama he" brings Japan to the Apennines, creating a cultural exchange through workshops for both adults and children, allowing them to get closer to Japanese traditions.
This event was born from the desire to actively introduce Japan through workshops, such as the taiko drum activity (held with members of the Taiko Lecco school), martial arts demonstrations, ideogram writing practice, and kimono dressing (with master Matsumoto).
It will also be possible to participate in the traditional tea ceremony and create objects with washi paper, as well as try your hand at origami. There will also be moments of relaxation, with reiki and meditation for adults and fairy tale readings and paper workshops for children.
Throughout the event, there will be a market where you can discover and purchase Japanese handmade creations.
You will also have the opportunity to taste Japanese culinary specialties at the restaurants in Castiglione dei Pepoli, which will offer themed menus, and try the exotic sake tasting.
