From 30 May to 2 June 2026, the charming village of Sestola, in the heart of the Modenese Apennines, will transform into a large open-air garden for “Fiori a Sestola”, an event dedicated to the world of flowers, plants and greenery.
For four days, the historic centre will come alive with flower and plant markets, floral installations, artistic decorations and stalls dedicated to gardening, creating a colorful route through the village’s streets and squares. Surrounded by the scents and colours of spring, visitors and enthusiasts will be able to discover botanical varieties, ornamental plants, seasonal flowers and products related to gardening and home decoration.
The event will also feature creative workshops, demonstrations and activities dedicated to the culture of gardening, designed to involve both adults and children in an immersive experience inspired by nature and tradition.
Walking through the picturesque streets of the old town, overlooked by the historic Rocca di Sestola, visitors will experience a unique atmosphere where nature, art and local traditions come together, highlighting one of the most characteristic villages of the Apennines.
“Fiori a Sestola” is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature and beauty, while discovering the charm and authenticity of the mountain landscape of Emilia-Romagna.
