From April 9, 2022, the spring exhibition From above. Futurist Aeropainting of the Masone Labyrinth will open. The exhibition is curated by Massimo Duranti with the collaboration of Andrea Baffoni.
A great occasion to explore also Franco Maria Ricci’s Labyrinth, covering over 8 hectares of land in his estate in the countryside near Parma, which was grown with a variety of bamboo species.
The exhibition consists of a hundred works to explore this futurist development that characterized Italian painting in the early decades of the Twentieth century. Landscapes, airplanes, visions from above at times dilated, distorted or even overturned: this is in the works of Aeropainting which with synthesis and essentiality have enhanced the speed, movement and simultaneity of flight as a physical act and as a state of mind.
