Hosted by the MAST Foundation, from 22 September to 8 January 2023, the exhibition IMAGE CAPITAL aims to show photography from a different point of view: its countless practical uses and how it functions as information technology.
The photographer Armin Linke and the photography historian Estelle Blaschke, researcher at the University of Basel, analyze how photography can be used in not only ordinary contexts, but also scientific, cultural or industrial sectors, for example.
IMAGE CAPITAL is the result of an international collaboration between the MAST Foundation in Bologna, the Folkwang Museum in Essen, the Pompidou Centre in Paris and the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation in Frankfurt/Eschborn.
