The October Fair, scheduled for October 4th and 5th, 2025, is the perfect event to experience autumn in the picturesque setting of the Castello dei Manzoli. Two days full of excitement and activities for everyone: craft markets, food stands where you can enjoy local delicacies such as crescentine, fried pumpkin, and fried custard, live music performances, and thrilling historical reenactments that take you back in time.
For the more daring, the event offers an unforgettable farmer’s breakfast: at 8 am, cotechino and mashed potatoes will give you the energy you need to brave the first chills of autumn! All of this takes place in the enchanting backdrop of Manzoli Castle, a majestic fortress built in 1411 by the knight Bartolomeo Manzoli.
With its towers, moat, and drawbridges, the castle, located in San Martino in Soverzano (near Minerbio), is a gem of Bolognese Neo-Gothic architecture. A place steeped in history, making the experience even more magical!
