From 23rd September to 13th January, Parma hosts Goya - Grosz The sleep of reason, an exhibition curated by Ralph Jentsch and Didi Bozzini.
A major exhibition on the two floors of Palazzo Pigorini in which Francisco Goya’s Caprichos dialogue with the drawings and paintings of George Grosz, two of the greatest draughtsmen of all time.
Their artworks, united by disruptive social satire, political commitment, moral prominence and extreme formal innovation, show the extraordinary ability of two artists capable of revealing profound truths with just a few strokes of ink or brushstrokes of colour, as well as the extreme relevance of their poetics.
