On 16 January 2024, the Duse Theatre in Bologna will host a performance of 'Swan Lake', considered the icon of 19th century classical ballets.
Swan Lake is a story about love, betrayal and the triumph of good over evil. The choreography requires great technical skill, culminating in the two 'Grand Pas de Deux' in the second and third scenes.
The show's popularity is due to the timeless music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, who succeeds through his music in expressing emotions by creating intense melodies, and the performance of the International Classical Ballet.
The expressive choreography by Marius Petipa, the sumptuous sets and the exquisite costumes also contribute to enhancing the romantic poetry of the performance.
