From 22 June to 11 November at Villa Mussolini in Riccione it will be possible to visit the exhibition dedicated to the great French photographer, one of the main representatives of humanist photography and one of the most appreciated photographers of the 20th century, author of The Kiss at the Hôtel de ville, one of the most iconic photos of Paris and the second half of the 20th century.
The exhibition is curated by the Atelier Robert Doisneau and created using original prints from the collection. An ambitious project by Francine Deroudille and her sister Annette - the photographer's daughters - who have selected from 450,000 negatives, produced over more than 60 years of the artist's work, the images in the exhibition that tell us his fascinating autobiographical story, also enriched by a family album starting in 1912, the year he was born.
More than 140 images in black and white and colour, from the 1930s to the late 1980s.
