L'uomo che Cammina - NonFestival di Sacro e Natura

Once again this year, “L’uomo che Cammina” – NonFestival of the Sacred and Nature – will bring the Reggio Emilia Apennines to life with many free cultural events, in various villages.

Walking, Discovering, Creating
Date: Saturday, June 20

Location: Castelnovo ne' Monti - Felina. At Tegge Park in Felina as part of the Tegge Festival.

Time: 4:30 p.m. – Walk with Ermanio Beretti; 5:30 p.m. – Botanical Impressions with Bea Ceramica.
Walk featuring the search for and collection of wild herbs, followed by a demonstration of botanical ceramics.

Lostatobrado in Concert 
Date: Friday, June 26

Location: Castelnovo ne' Monti. At Piazza delle Armi in the historic center

Time: 9:00 PM
Featuring Alessio Vanni, Lorenzo Valdesalici, and Lorenzo Marra; in case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Bismantova Theater

“L’Uomo Collina” (The Hill Man)

Reading of a story for children and adults, followed by an art exhibition
Featuring Mauro Ferrari, Ermanio Beretti, and the readers from the “Arcunta” group at the Crovi Library, with musical accompaniment by Elisabetta Delprato on violin. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the foyer of the Bismantova Theater.

Location: Pietra di Bismantova
Time: 4:00 p.m. – Mass at the Sanctuary of Bismantova; 5:00 p.m. – Hike to the summit of Pietra di Bismantova
Ascent to Pietra di Bismantova with the Benedictines of the Abbey of San Giovanni on the feast day of the patron saint of Europe
Cultural event in collaboration with the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park.
In case of inclement weather, the hike will be canceled and replaced with a discussion on the topic at the Laudato Si’ Center.
