The SI Fest in Savignano sul Rubicone is one of the longest-running and established photography festivals in Italy and internationally.

From 9 to 11 September and on the weekends of 17-18 September and 1-2 October it reaches its 31st edition

A festival that revolutionizes its proposal under the artistic direction of Alex Majoli.
In a world increasingly inundated with images, the SI FEST tries to bring order to the chaos by focusing everything on educating the new generations on images. In recent months, this edition of the festival - entitled Asinelli solitari, with a quote from Il chaos by Pier Paolo Pasolini - has moved to the classroom by organizing specific initiatives for the students of Savignano sul Rubicone and school environments themselves are at the center of the exhibition, with a series of exhibitions set up between the elementary and middle schools of Savignano sul Rubicone, thinking first of all of the students and their teachers.
Carried back between desks and blackboards, visitors to the festival are also invited to reason with the students' mental schemes.

The exhibition itinerary continues in one of the historic spaces of the SI FEST, the former Consorzio di Bonifica. Here, three international authors (Thomas Dworzak, Kanta Nomura and Ivars Gravlejs, explore school cultures and youthful universes that are very distant, not only geographically.

A Festival that offers, in addition to the reading of portfolios, photographic exhibitions, ateliers, workshops, prizes, specialized libraries, independent publishing, the SI FEST OFF section (this year hosted at Palazzo Don Baronio), video projections, performances and special events, in addition to the results of photographic projects produced annually in the area that document aspects related to the human and social landscape.

There are also numerous appointments, stands, original artistic performances directly inspired by some of the photographs on display, including the inevitable reading of the portfolios that have characterized the event since its debut.

Exhibitions can also be visited on subsequent weekends.
