The city of Piacenza will once again host the Italian team fencing championships and the third round of the Wheelchair Fencing Grand Prix for the A2-B1-B2-C Naz. and C1 series (3 weapons, men and women).
The tournament will be held from 27 to 30 March 2025 at the Piacenza Expo exhibition centre.
The first day of competitions opens with men's and women's foil. The A2-B1-B2 series clash on the field from 9 a.m.; the last matches on Friday.
Epee competitions will also be held on Friday and Saturday and the Integrated Fencing Cat. A+, A and B + 3rd National Trial Cat. C. 3rd National Trial for the Blind will begin. The championships will end on Sunday with sabre (all men's and women's series) and the competitions of the 3rd Integrated Fencing Grand Prix.
The Italian title for each category will be up for grabs. The public will be admitted in dedicated areas, while the competition platforms will be accessible to athletes, referees and technicians.
Around 400 teams from all over the peninsula are expected to participate.
