The city of Piacenza is once again hosting the Italian fencing championships for the A2-B1-B2-C Naz. and C1 series (3 weapons, men and women). The tournament is being held from 2 to 5 June at the Piacenza Expo exhibition centre.
The first day of competition opens with foil. On the field from 9 a.m. the series from a to C clash; the last matches on the morning of Saturday 3.
Epee competitions are held between Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June. Monday is dedicated to sabre and concludes the tournament.
The Italian title for each category is up for grabs. The public will be admitted in dedicated spaces, while the competition platforms will be accessible to athletes, referees and coaches.
Around 350 teams from all over the peninsula are expected to participate.
At the entrance, teams and visitors will be welcomed by the Galleria del Gusto(Taste Gallery), where consortia for the protection of local products will offer tastings of the territory.
