From 9 to 13 August, Comacchio celebrates its Patron Saint, San Cassiano, with five days of events featuring music, shows, traditions, street food, a funfair, a historical regatta, bingo games, and the traditional fireworks display.
Between Piazza XX Settembre and the Trepponti bridge, the historic center comes alive with concerts and entertainment for all ages. On August 13th at 7 pm there is the striking Historical Regatta of San Cassiano, with the traditional “vulicepi” boats, eight meters long and just 50 centimeters wide, buil to sail in the Comacchio valleys.
At midnight, the sky lights up with an exciting fireworks display at the San Pietro Bridge.
On August 12th and 13th, starting at 6 pm in Piazza XX Settembre, the Plaza del Gusto offers a culinary journey with specialties from all over the world.
