Fiandre Cesenati - Cesena Van Vlaanderen originates from a love for the Tour of Flanders, which inspired the desire to organize a similar event in the heart of Romagna.
So here is a cycling tour, a non-competitive cycling event open to all types of bikes (race, mtb, gravel, ebike, fat bike) through the steepest and most insidious walls of the Cesena area, passing paved sections in the historic center and in the ancient villages of the hills of Romagna.
The route, almost completely in the Cesena area, is 130 km with 2900 m. of positive difference in height, 16 "muur", and it winds along the most typical roads of the Cesena area touching some of the most beautiful locations such as Carpineta, Casale, Sorrivoli, Ardiano and small villages in the Savio valley such as Roversano, Formignano and Montevecchio, known for having been the usual training ground of the famous romagnolo cyclist Marco Pantani, aka "The Pirate".
