Modena, widely regarded as the home of Italian volleyball, will be one of the host cities for the 2026 CEV Men's European Volleyball Championship, alongside Naples, Turin, and Milan.
Italy's national team, coached by Ferdinando "Fefè" De Giorgi, will open its campaign in Naples before continuing in Modena. From 12 to 17 September 2026, the PalaPanini arena will host all the Pool A matches, featuring Italy, the Czech Republic, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden.
The tournament will conclude with the final in Milan on 27 September 2026, and the winning team will also secure direct qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
As in previous editions, the championship will have a truly European dimension, with Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, and Romania serving as co-host nations.
