At Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati, in the center of Parma next to the Baptistery, from 7 September 2024 to 12 January 2025 the exhibition Lautrec – The world of the circus and Montmartre which consists of over 120 works and aims to celebrate the 160th anniversary of Toulouse-Lautrec's birth.
The exhibition will highlight his recurring themes, including the circus, Parisian nightlife, portraits of artists and celebrities of the time and the representation of marginalized social classes.
Through a chronological and thematic sequence, visitors will be able to appreciate the evolution of Toulouse-Lautrec's style and the different techniques he used throughout his career.
