A few months after the centenary of Pier Paolo Pasolini's birth, on March 5, 1922 in Bologna, the focus exhibition that will be set up by the Magnani-Rocca Foundation in the beautiful Villa of Mamiano di Traversetolo near Parma which already houses an important art collection.
The exhibition intends to highlight the opening of the poet-director to the dialogue between literature, cinema, figurative arts in search of those "correspondences" which were also at the center of the intellectual interest of Luigi Magnani, founder of Magnani-Rocca, who lived in Rome in the same period as Pasolini.
On display sumptuous costumes made for the films for celebreted actress, loaned by the CSAC of Parma, original film posters, rare vintage photographs and the photographic gallery of the works of art that Pasolini had as a reference, near the scenes movies.
The Villa of masterpieces houses also a prestigious collection and it is inside a magnificent park.
