On 21 and 22 November, the first edition of the Festa del Formaggio di Grotta della Solfatara will take place in Piazza Cavour, Predappio Alta, celebrating one of the area’s most distinctive local products.
A whole weekend dedicated to food, local traditions and conviviality, offering visitors the opportunity to discover and purchase Formaggio di Grotta della Solfatara, a cheese matured inside the cave of Predappio Alta, where the unique characteristics of the local environment contribute to its distinctive flavour.
On both days, the Pro Loco food stalls will offer a variety of local specialities to enjoy together.
The programme includes live music on Saturday 21 November with Paolo, Silvie and Maddy, as well as traditional wooden games organised by Nonno Banter. On Sunday 22 November, Canta Storie di Romagna will entertain visitors with an afternoon of music and Romagna traditions.
The event offers a chance to discover Formaggio di Grotta della Solfatara and enjoy a weekend in the village of Predappio Alta, with good food, music and entertainment for the whole family.
