From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June, Ravenna hosts the 3rd edition of Coconino Fest, the festival of the publishing house Coconino Press, celebrating comics and creating an interaction between them and other languages and forms of expression, such as music, novels video and theatre.
The title of this year's edition is FREEDOM!, giving everyone the freedom to tell and experience exciting stories under the theme of contemporary language.
The programme of the festival features a full calendar of meetings with authors, comic artists and others giving life to a series of special events, shows, readings, live painting performances and to a great party on the beach of Hana-bi in Marina di Ravenna.
On the occasion of the festival, Ravenna also hosts two great exhibitions: Freedom. Sette sguardi d'autore: geografie e generazioni del fumetto, at MAR - Ravenna Art Museum from 22nd June to 28th July and Viaggio in Italia at the Classense Library from 8th June to 6th July.
