During the summer nights, from 21 June to 15 August, the “Docks” area at the back of Palazzo Savonuzzi will become a square on the river, due to the live concerts organized by the Associazione Musicisti di Ferrara.
LIVE MUSIC – SOLIDARITY – DRINKS The theme of the project is the weekly events on Monday and Thursday evenings in the Darsena, where it is possible to listen to live music; different repertoires and different sounds will take place week after week for a total of 19 evenings of concerts involving more than 100 professional musicians.
TWO FESTIVALS WITHIN THE FESTIVAL
The first will be on August 18th, with the return of Gypsy Guitar, with an exhibition of musical instruments in the Wunderkammer Hall and a concert on the river, with the aim of highlighting the work of the luthier Mario Maccaferri , inventor and creator of the guitar that gave voice and sound to the great Manouche guitarist Django Reinhardt, Sultan of Swing and world reference point. This edition is twinned with the three-day Festival "La Chitarra del Centopievese" which will be held in Pieve di Cento on 26,27,28 July and which will have the same purpose, programming concerts of Manouche music, exhibitions, lutherie and guitar technique seminars.
The evening of August 15th will be dedicated to the sixth edition of the Wah Wah Music Fest, an independent music festival curated by the editorial staff of the Wah Wah Magazine which pays particular attention to new young proposals.
