On the occasion of the 6th centenary of the poet's death, when the city became the international capital of Dante's 'worship', the Classense Library hosts Inclusa est flamma. Ravenna 1921: the Six-hundredth anniversary of Dante's death, an exhibition to recall the celebration that took place in Ravenna between 1920 and 1921

Books, billboards, photos, paintings, manuscripts and many other objects of art donated as a homage to Dante and the city, his last refuge, will be on display at the library, along with the drawings by Adolfo De Carolis, the poster of the 6th centenary by artist Galileo Chini, and the famous bags containing bay leaves that Gabriele D'Annunzio placed as a homage by Dante's Tomb.

Curated by Benedetto Gugliotta, head of enhancement of the Classense Library.
