Now in its 18th edition, on 24 and 25 August the AlchimiAlchimie event returns to the picturesque setting of the village of San Leo.
Three eagerly-awaited days that transform the old town into a natural stage for stage shows of great intensity, with performances by artists and companies. Don't miss the traditional Fire of the Fortress and the Alchemical Fire.
There is also a stone and crystal market, food & beverage stands, taverns and restaurants to enjoy the best of local gastronomy.
The event was created in memory of the legendary figure of Count Cagliostro, who was locked up in a cell in the Fortress of San Leo until his death on 26 August 1795.
