The Castle of San Pietro in Cerro is located in the Piacenza plain, a short distance from the Caorso (A21) motorway entrance.
This is the location for the quality Christmas market 'Magie del Natale - proposte creative (Magics of Christmas - Creative Proposals), planned for 25th and 26th November 2023.
The exhibitors' proposals include handcrafted objects and local food and wine products: fruit, vegetables, pastries, compotes, dairy products and wines.
To complete the day of leisure, a visit to the facility is recommended, which dates back to the 15th century and features an inner courtyard with a loggia and a large green area nearby. The interior rooms are furnished with period furniture, objects collected during travels, and a collection of modern and contemporary art that includes forty reproductions of the Xian Warriors, authenticated and certified copies from the Beijing Museum of History, made on commission by the Chinese government in a single, irreproducible batch of 90.
