From March 26th to April 25th, Sasso Marconi will host the event "Marconi Days - special 150th anniversary of the birth of Guglielmo Marconi." The event celebrates the figure of Guglielmo Marconi and the world of communication, which owes much to the inventor from Sasso Marconi.
The events, concerts, and conferences will take place between the Borgo di Colle Ameno, Villa Griffone (headquarters of the Marconi Foundation and the museum dedicated to him), and the center of Sasso Marconi. Among the guests of this edition, we find Princess Elettra Marconi (daughter of the inventor), Cardinal Carlo Maria Zuppi, Anne L'Huillier (Nobel Prize winner for physics in 2023), and Mark Clampin (NASA astrophysicist).
Throughout the duration of Marconi Days 2024, a photographic exhibition entitled "Sasso Marconi, the city of Guglielmo" will be set up at the spaces of the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia-Romagna region, in Bologna.
