From 17 February to 16 June 2024, Palazzo Pallavicini will host the exhibition "Witchcraft. Iconography, facts and scandals of history's subversives", which, conceived and produced by Vertigo Syndrome and curated by the playwright Luca Scarlini, will offer a series of great novelties and surprises.
Following the success of the exhibition at the Villa Reale in Monza, Guglielmo Invernizzi's collection of prints and engravings will be joined by many works of art from private collections, both Italian and foreign, as well as new objects related to the world of witchcraft lent by the legendary Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Cornwall and the Museum of Civilisation in Rome.
The exhibition will open with a real witchcraft trial held in a court of the Inquisition in 1539, continuing through nine themed rooms exploring every aspect of the occult and witchcraft.
