Event dedicated to the chestnut of Montefeltro, a valuable variety typical of the area, already included in the National List of Traditional Products.
On sale at the festival "ballotte" (boiled in water) and the "roasted chestnuts" (cooked using a perforated pan on the grill), but also cakes and pies, and first and second courses in which chestnuts are the basic ingredients.
The presence of chestnut trees has contributed to the cultivation of this product since the Middle Ages thanks to the monastic orders.
