On Thursday 12 September, Saturday 14 September and Sunday 15 September 2024, the 1800s festival returns to Modigliana with the XXVII edition.
Like every year, the city context is transformed into a widespread museum in order to illuminate and enhance the pictorial work of Silvestro Lega, born in Modigliana in 1826, the local art gallery of which preserves numerous and important paintings.
A unique event that combines culture and entertainment in an extraordinary synthesis to revive both a selection of Silvestro Lega's work and the 19th century in all its aspects: from the romantic and heroic to the artistic and everyday life.
The natural setting is Modigliana, which - with its streets, alleys, squares, courtyards and gardens located in the most evocative and significant contexts of the country - will accompany the public in a parallel historical narrative, where painting and performance overlap perfectly.
