Experience the healing power of the sulphur water that flows at 900 metres above sea level at the Terme di Cervarezza, immersed in the lush-green landscapes of the Apennines of Reggio Emilia.
Not far from the Tuscan border, Cervarezza Terme is set in the foothills of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park. This spa is located at an altitude of 900 metres, in the silent and tranquil surroundings of the mountain meadows and pine and beech forests.
The park's very heart, which is not only a paradise for trekking and mountain biking enthusiasts, is also the source of the sulphur waters that supply this spa. These waters act as a natural remedy for the body’s ailments and, when combined with the effects of pure mountain air, generate an all-round wellness experience.
With a sodium bicarbonate medium mineral content, the waters at the Terme di Cervarezza are effective at treating illnesses of the respiratory and urinary tracts, as well as ear, nose and throat conditions and metabolic disorders. Thermal water treatments are offered in a variety of different forms, from inhalations to thermal baths to mud wraps.
In addition to these treatments and the rehabilitation therapy appointments, the Cervarezza facility also provides guests with an area exclusively for relaxation, where they can leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind them.
The wellness centre comprises a heated thermal water pool, a neck massaging waterfall and a counter current machine, as well as a 36°C - 38°C pool with massaging water jets to detoxify and tone the skin through the massaging action of the water.
The centre also has a 45°C - 50°C steam room for deep skin cleansing, and a thermotherapy sauna to stimulate blood circulation.
After the thermal water treatments at the Terme di Cervarezza, guests can round off their experience with personalised beauty treatments, such as relaxing thermal mud massages to encourage lymphatic drainage and muscle relaxation.
