This municipality with a clear agricultural vocation - beans are the typical local product - is located a few kilometers from the Fiorenzuola d’Arda motorway exit.
The historical-architectural heritage is rich in buildings of considerable value: the San Vitale church was built in the early twentieth century, the town hall, the war memorial, the church of Bersano, built in the second half of the 20th century to replace the previous building from the 18th century, the church of Mercore.
Borlotti beans, which have always been grown by local farms, are the products that best represent the Municipality of Besenzone.

On the second and third Sunday of July each year, the Fasö Festival is celebrated here. The Proloco organizes dance parties with traditional cuisine and initiatives, which keep the identity of this place alive.
