Industrious and lively town, mixing an agricultural economy with quality vineyards and an engineering economy (formerly Landini tractors), Fabbrico is located to north of Correggio, of which it remained a feud until the XVII century.
The Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta, with a brick façade, has a Baroque style interior with precious altar frontals in polychrome scagliola.
The nearby Palazzo Guidotti incorporates part of the ancient castle that included the primitive settlement, the walls and XV-century bastions. Now several halls of the (private) building are used for receptions.
The Fabbrico-based Compagnia del Nocino (Nut Liquor Association) keeps alive the recipe of this ancient liqueur (prepared with a walnut infusion (the husk), gathered on the evening of San Giovanni (Saint John), June 24, in alcohol).
The Pedrazzoli Theatre is the heart of Fabbrico's cultural life.
