Christmas in Parma

To celebrate Christmas 2024, Parma will be dressed in lights and colors! You can only be fascinated by the small neighborhoods that shine with lights and by the elegant Piazza Garibaldi with the Christmas tree, which will be lit as usual on the afternoon of December 8.

In addition, there are many initiatives for young and old.

MARKETS

On weekends in December from Piazza Ghiaia to the Porticoes of the Ospedale Vecchio, from Via Garibaldi to Via D'Azeglio the Christmas Markets return. Discover the dates and times of the Markets for your Christmas shopping!

NEW YEAR'S EVE

To finish and to start the new year, music is the great protagonist: on December 31 at 6pm with a concert by the Toscanini Philharmonic while, later, it is celebrated in Piazza Garibaldi with the traditional New Year's Eve Concert. Wednesday 1 January music again at the Teatro Regio with the New Year's Concert and with the Toscanini Philharmonic which re-proposes the concert Alla gioia.

INITIATIVES FOR KIDS  

For the little ones: the International Festival of Contemporary Circus and Nouvelle Magic Tutti matti sotto zero returns from 7 December 2024 to 6 January 2025; the delightful Merry-go-round at Piazzale della Steccata.
