The Terme dell’Agriturismo, also known as the Villaggio della Salute Più, is the ideal destination for those who love nature and want to experience it in the most relaxing, healthy way possible. This complex is sprawled across the Monterenzio hills and is located in a protected area with a high level of biodiversity, only around 40 kilometres from Bologna.
As a member of the Mare Termale Bolognese spa network and open all year round, the Terme dell’Agriturismo is an oasis of tranquillity where you can spend many a wonderful hour of relaxation, fun and fitness. The water park is also open during the hottest months of the year, boasting 20 swimming pools set in a green area covering 20,000 square metres; perfect for a day of fun diving, waterfalls and water slides.
The spa is located in a stunning wood and glass building and features a partially covered thermal pool with calcium-rich sulphur water at 34°C with geysers and massaging water jets, ideal for providing relief for rheumatic joint disorders. The spa amenities also include a 38°C pool, a water jet spa, sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation room.
The Village also has two restaurants that serve local specialities from the Sillaro river valley. The agriturismo [farm stay], located at the very heart of the complex, also provides accommodation.
The vast area covered by the water park provides a patchwork of possibilities to have fun and unwind in the outdoors. The various areas of the water park, known as pianori [plateaus], feature baths, pools, caves and water slides for everyone of all ages.
At the foot of the hill lies the lake area of the facility, where sports enthusiasts can challenge themselves to a row in a canoe, a session in a pedal boat or a ride on an aqua bike.
A little uphill from here is the pool area, featuring a large wave pool and a relaxation pool with a foot massage system. This area also has more than 600 sunbeds and umbrellas to lie in the shade or to sunbathe. Children can have fun in the Bimbolandia areas, the perfect place to splash around in the shallow water of the thermal pools and the water slides.
Dogs are welcome too at the Villaggio della Salute Più: four-legged guests have access to a lovely forest, games, drinking troughs and a walking area at the Fido area and at the pianoro del Moai plateau.
