The tradition of Christmas comes to life on the beach of Rimini with the giant sand nativity scenes that can be admired on the free beach of Marina Centro (harbour area) and in Torre Pedrera, at the beach 65.
From 8th December (the Immaculate Conception's day) to 9th January 2022, Rimini becomes the city of sand nativities with two suggestive and spectacular Nativities a stone's throw from the sea.
In Marina Centro visitors are accompanied to admire the nativity scene, which every year is proposed with new scenographies, and the guides offer explanations on the theme represented, on the techniques and timing of implementation.
The sand sculptures are indoors and admission costs € 3 (€ 2 for people up to 16 years old and free for children under 120 cm and the handicapped).
The area also hosts a colorful and lively craft market with handmade Christmas products and a bar area (free admission).

In Torre Pedrera, the sand sculptors together with the staff of the local Tourist Committee propose a classic Nativity immersed in a new scenography made to amaze adults and children: Christmas characters and many other scenes of the classic repertoire emerge from the sand. There is also entertainment for children and traditional bingo which take place in the large party tent next to the nativity scene. Admission is upon free donation.
