Bagno di Romagna hosts "The Captain's Days", a historical re-enactment aimed at keeping alive an important tradition of the territory, that is the period of the "Val di Bagno" where every year the Medici family sent a trusted person to "captain" the territory.
The event, which this year includes a theatrical performance in the historic Piazza Ricasoli, will rediscover the traditions of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany which ruled this territory until 1923 and of which there is still evidence today in the historic Palazzo del Capitano in Via Fiorentina.
