"Cara Forlì. La grande festa del Liscio" is back in Piazza Saffi for its third edition.
Saturday 2 September from 18.00 and Sunday 3 September from 17.00 the festival will feature music, with concerts, dances, documentaries and Romagna cuisine; two days dedicated to those who can be defined as "The Giants of Liscio": Carlo Brighi aka Zaclèn, Secondo Casadei and Raoul Casadei.
Special guest of the first evening will be singer-songwriter Enrico Ruggeri, who will present an unreleased rock version of "Romagna Mia." Sunday's Grand Finale will feature the Mirko Casadei POPular Folk Orchestra performing the great songs from throughout the Casadei tradition.
The Festival sees the debut of the "Orchestra Cara Forlì" directed by Moreno Il Biondo, founded for the occasion to close out a project for the recovery and rediscovery of Maestro Carlo Brighi's scores, conserved at the Saffi Municipal Library.
Also this year there will be side initiatives: the presentation of an unpublished book by Mario Russomanno, a documentary film by Oderso Rubini, two dance floors enlivened by dance schools and the "Menù Cara Forlì".
