The fourth edition of "Cara Forli. La grande festa del Liscio" (Liscio folk music festival), which will take place in Piazza Saffi on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, from 6 p.m. to midnight, with a preview on September 6 at Fabbrica delle Candele.
After the great success of the first three editions of "Cara Forlì", the City Council of Forlì, in collaboration with the Secondo Casadei and Raoul Casadei families, and with the support of the Emilia Romagna Region - Cultural Department, presents a special edition dedicated to the queen song of Liscio: "Romagna Mia" by Maestro Secondo Casadei, which this year celebrates the 70th anniversary of its first publication. A popular song that has written the history of Italian music, becoming the anthem of a people and a land.
Special guest of the first evening Maurizio Vandelli, historical member of the Equipe 84 band. Sunday's grand finale will be with the Mirko Casadei Big Band, which will perform the great songs of the entire Casadei tradition.
There will also be the return of the "Great Dear Forli Orchestra" and the unprecedented performance of the Santa Balera All Stars, featuring Roberta Cappelletti, Luana Babini, Mauro Ferrara, Fiorenzo Tassinari, Claudio Bruciaferri and Genio.
Also new is the Anteprima dedicated to the young and very young of Generation Z, which will take place on Friday, September 6th at the Candle Factory from 8 p.m. with the format "Big Fun No Trip", a special Romagna Mia Remix that will make everyone dance with its adrenaline rush and its great DJs and vocalists.
Also this year there will be no lack of side events: the presentation of Mario Russomanno's new book, the screening of a documentary film by Oderso Rubini at IAT Hub - Tourist Office.
Two dance floors enlivened by the dance schools Le Sirene Danzanti and New Dance Club will transform Piazza Saffi into a large Romagna ballroom.
