Every year, between April and May, Castell'Arquato celebrates the area's wine par excellence: Monterosso Val d'Arda DOC, a white wine, named after the hill that characterizes the medieval village's landscape, produced exclusively in Castell'Arquato and its surroundings.
The event was first conceived by Castell'Arquato volunteers in 2011 to promote the area's typical wine. Over the years, the event has also become an opportunity to promote tourism in the Val d'Arda and boost all that Piacenza has to offer.
For two days, local wineries present their wines along the "barrique cellar" street, which you can taste in the company of art exhibitions, musical performances, and street food, in the magical setting of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Edition 2026 scheduled for May 9 and 10.
Program available on the official website near the time of the festival.
