The Christmas lights are turned on on the Rimini Riviera and all the towns along the coast - Riccione, Cattolica, Bellaria - Igea Marina and Misano Adriatico - are dressed up in colours, events, music festivals, ice parks, Christmas markets, fun opportunities and much more to accompany you during the festivities.

In Riccione, the "Riccione Christmas Sea" takes center stage, with a program suited to all ages and tastes, kicking off on November 24th at 5:00 p.m. on Viale Ceccarini, featuring the renowned saxophonist Isabella Fabbri. The musician will take the audience on an emotional musical journey, accompanied by a unique and captivating dance choreography inspired by her album Elementa, dedicated to the elements of nature.

Starting November 24th, the streets of the city will light up with spectacular Christmas illuminations, transforming every corner into a mosaic of lights and colors. The theme of water, the guiding motif of the artistic project, will be reflected in the scenery and artistic installations throughout the city center.

Among the most enchanting attractions are the Lungomare Ice Park—a skating rink extending all the way to Piazzale Roma—and the majestic Xmas Tree at the harbor, whose shimmering lights will create a magical atmosphere as they reflect on the sea's waters.

In Cattolica, Christmas lights up on November 23rd with the "Cattolica Christmas Village," transforming the town into a magical Christmas kingdom full of events and activities. The festivities will feature a blue carpet through the town center, gourmet stalls, an ice rink, a "Lifeguard Santa" Igloo, a Ferris wheel, and a grand New Year's Eve celebration in Roosevelt Square to welcome the new year.

The ice rink will open on November 30th and remain in place until January 6th, closing with a special event dedicated to the Befana. On Via Bovio, a village of gourmet stalls will offer local food and wine specialties and more, while in Roosevelt Square, there will be dedicated areas for children, including an Igloo with "Lifeguard Santa"—an original initiative organized by Cattolica's beach associations. Here, kids can enjoy Christmas-themed workshops and many other activities designed just for them.

Bellaria Igea Marina will be wrapped in the colors and atmosphere of Christmas starting Sunday, November 17th, with DJ sets and live music filling the city center and giving the public moments of lively engagement. The heart of the Christmas program will kick off on December 1st, featuring activities and shows for children, the stunning sand nativity scene in Igea Marina, and roaming performances with artists, acrobats, and entertainers bringing life to the Isola dei Platani.

This year, ice will once again be the star of the holiday season in Misano Adriatico, with the ice rink in Piazza della Repubblica. The official opening is set for Saturday, November 23rd, the same day the holiday lights will be lit up all along the Riviera.

The rink will be the main attraction of “Misano On Ice” a lineup of events that will run through January 7th, the day after the traditional Epiphany celebration. Visitors will also find the classic wooden stalls offering traditional Christmas sweets, along with other sweet and savory treats, and the ever-popular artisan markets.
