Sunday 15 and 22 October sees the return of the Dovadola Truffle Fair and Festival, this year in its 56th edition!
The event was created to promote the truffle and typical local products, including mushrooms, honey, cheese, wine, and cured meats, and to promote the beauty of this Romagna town.
The streets along the town centre will be enlivened from 11.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. by the stalls of street vendors, agricultural producers and the truffle market.
You will enjoy the local specialities that have made this event famous: tagliatelle, rigorously hand-rolled by the "sfogline", and many other delicacies including polenta, crostini, eggs, panzerotti, sausages, rotisserie meat, piadina romagnola, fried piadina, and typical wines.
At 11.00 am, in Piazza Marconi, a special jury will award prizes for the best truffles at the Fair.
