Gatteo Mare, the homeland of "Romagna mia", confirms itself as the capital of ballroom dancing with a musical event which, in addition to celebrating the most identifying music of Romagna, brings to the stage evocative twinnings with the other capitals of dance music: Nashville, the country capital, Buenos Aires Capital of Tango, Rio de Janeiro with its Samba, New Orleans with Dixieland and Havana with its overwhelming Latin music.
From 28 May to 1 June, the great protagonists of ballroom dancing and dance music accompanied by the SANLISCIO Festival Orchestra perform in five evening shows in Piazza della Libertà.
Preview of the Festival on May 27 with an evening event dedicated to the history of the Casadei orchestra, started in 1928, from its origins to the present day.
