On 4 and 5, October 2025, the "Parmigiano-Reggiano da gustare" festival returns to Lama Mocogno, two days of celebration dedicated to the best-known cheese in the world, which also has excellent producers in the Modena Apennines.
This year the festival reaches its 20th edition, confirming a successful event and an unmissable appointment for lovers of festivals in the Apennines. The day before, Friday, is usually dedicated to greeting the authorities and holding a conference about the economic and development issues linked to Parmigiano-Reggiano. On Saturday and Sunday the real party takes place with tastings, cutting of cheeses aged up to 100 months, food stands, local product and craft markets and music!
