The title refers to one of the main series on display and includes works that highlight the artist's strong interest in the exact sciences; he has always been "visually attracted by the cosmic tangle of subnuclear particles".
The main corpus of the exhibition, at Reggio Emilia-based Palazzo da Mosto and aimed at rediscovering the restless personality of Luciano Bertoli, is made up of the paintings called "Meantime. Mandelbrot's curves", created from the second half of the 1990s to the beginning of the 2000s, and which have remained nearly all unpublished.
The exhibition tour is completed by several previous works - paintings, sculptures, graphics, drawings and assemblages - to present to the public the essential components of an experimental journey in materials and techniques, always supported by a genuine curiosity for the world of machines and technique.
