From the 23rd November 2024 to the 6th January 2025, the Palazzo Cassa di Risparmio della Fondazione del Monte in Lugo, nella provincia di Ravenna, will host an extensive solo exhibition by painter Silvano D'Ambrosio, a native of Romagna by adoption but born in France in 1951, where he has been living since 2010, although he maintains a strong bond and constant frequentation with Italy, his place of training.
‘Each different theme is taken as a paradigm of the human condition,’ says the artist himself about this variety of genres visible in the exhibition. An unusual juxtaposition of works that draws a plot that functions as a constellation of meaning. No chronological progression then, but a narrative made almost in the form of theatre due to the ability of the images summoned to function as burning apparitions.
