From 7 November 2026 to 10 January 2027, Palazzo Fava in Bologna presents Magnus. Heroes and Non-Heroes, an exhibition celebrating Roberto Raviola, better known as Magnus, one of Italy's most influential comic book artists. The exhibition marks the 30th anniversary of the Bologna-born artist's death.
Visitors can explore his artistic career through the characters, stories and illustrations that made his work so distinctive. From the adventures of Alan Ford to the worlds of Lo Sconosciuto and I Briganti, the exhibition reveals the variety of his artistic style and his original approach to heroes and antiheroes.
One of the highlights is the collection of 224 original comic pages created for Tex, the legendary Italian Western comic that occupied Magnus during the final years of his life. The exhibition also features his 1995 Lunario diary, explores the female characters in his stories and examines his connection with Bologna and fellow comic book artists Bonvi and Andrea Pazienza.
Discounts are available for Bologna Welcome Card and Card Cultura holders.
