Anthological exhibition dedicated to the painter Antonio Ligabue (1899-1965).
On display are 22 oil paintings and several bronze statues. The works are displayed in chronological order, so as to observe the evolution of style, technique and themes of this artist.
On display are also famous masterpieces depicting animals in motion, “Swiss castles” and the wonderful portrait “Self-portrait with scarecrow”, as well as unpublished documents illustrating the life of Ligabue in Gualtieri and photos dating back to the Fifties depicting the artist with his famous Guzzi motorcycle.
