In Riccione, New Year's Eve in Piazzale Ceccarini doubles: two days of partying with Jimmy Sax and the DJs who have made history in the city.
A collective party, an event spread out in space and time, a unique New Year's Eve that will be lit on Saturday 30 to explode on the night of 31 December. And at midnight the fireworks display over the sea.
Kicking off the New Year's Eve party on Saturday 30 December will be the show by Jimmy Sax, the world's most famous French saxophonist, appreciated for his impeccable technique, his great passion for music, and his ability to thrill any audience with his refined sound.
Then, on Sunday 31 December, Riccione will be enveloped in sounds, colours, plays of light and projections, and Piazzale Ceccarini will be transformed into a special dance floor entrusted to the DJs and artists who have contributed to creating the emotions, suggestions and memories of Riccione: the historical DJs who have played on the city's most renowned consoles, from Dancing Savioli to the Ethos Mama Club, such as Massimo Lippoli, Ricky Montanari and Roger. Peeping onto the square, set on the stage, will be the luminous moon of "The Week of the Seven Moons", which shines over the cities of Romagna for the Christmas festivities and recalls to Riccione's memory the legendary two moons high in the sky at Dancing Savioli.
Riccione's moon turns into a mirrorball, an electric moonbeam that rips through Piazzale Ceccarini and spreads as far as Viale Virgilio and the Palazzo dei Congressi Gallery, where the party lights up with a DJ set by Rivoluzione Romantica and food & drink proposals.
Among the stars of New Year’s in Riccione, the young Riccione dj Gabry Seth (already a Star last year at the New Year’s celebrations and finalist of the international talent show Tour Music Fest 2023-The European Music Contest) who will warm up the event with his sound in the evening both on 30 and 31 December.
